Colin McAdam is an acclaimed young Canadian novelist who while on a brief visit to the West Coast has offered to talk about his career as a writer and read from his newest novel soon to be published by Penguin Books of Canada.

Bruce Williams was our guest speaker February 22, 2011 (Scuttlebutt). He has been the Fundraising Chair for Jeneece Place (Web Site).

Members will be pleased to know that Jeneece Place is having its official opening today. Here is a news report from earlier this week:

In the meantime, Jeneece has been recognized with the Order of British Colubia

Last week we had a dozen or so program events and several reports for our executive meeting all added to the web site within a few days. Some members have expressed a concern about the amount of email that resulted when the web site sent an individual notification email for each of these items. If you want to manage the notifications you receive, read on.

Web site users include many past club members and all of our current members. Without a notifications system, users will not know when the site has been updated.

We will be organizing Host homes and have some fellowship.
Suggest that we include Friends of Rotary, who have helped us through the year.

This will be an evening function to replace our morning meeting. This will be our Club's change over,
and installation of next years officers. This is tentative.
