The Scuttlebutt

The Scuttlebutt is our club newsletter. Each week, Kim Brown posts his notes of our meeting for our members and all visitors to our site.

Instead of sending an email notification of a new issue of the Scuttlebutt, the new site has several ways you can keep up to date. The simplest is just to bookmark this page or add it as a favourite, depending on which browser you use. Your browser will have a command for that in the drop down menu or, Ctrl-D will do it (in Firefox, not sure about other browsers). That method will make it easy for you to find recent issues of the Scuttlebutt when you decide to check.

Another way to keep track of new changes to the Scuttlebutt is to use the RSS feed function. You get that by clicking on the little orange square down at the bottom right of the page or, in some browsers also at the right end of the address bar at the top. For more information on RSS feeds, go to our help page about RSS Feeds.

The best way, and the only way you will receive email notification, is to "Subscribe". If you want to be notified whenever a new issue of the Scuttlebutt is posted to the site (and I hope everyone will subscribe at least to this), go to your own menu by scrolling down and click on "My Subscriptions" in the lower left side of your screen. From there, go the Content Type Tab and tick Newsletter. Remember to press the Save button at the bottom.

Below you will find issues that have been created or edited in the last couple of months. To see all past issues, go to our archives.
